For best results, a Precision Side Cutter (TH1897) is an ideal tool to remove parts cleanly from the sprue (the frame that holds all the parts in the box).
Other assembly tools that may be needed include a small screwdriver, hammer, scissors, a ruler, marking pen and tissue.

Poor quality
Seal on the piston was faulty and couldn't get it to hold pressure. Lip for O ring was not big enough. Disappointing.
Great toy
It's a shame the other reviewer here did not have much luck with this kit – my 7-year-old was right into it, he loved building it with me. It's just the right level of complexity and the instructions were excellent. We made a mistake with the valve, but were able to go back and fix.
