This entertaining educational kit demonstrates the concept of a salt powered automotive engine. Investigate the potential of fuel cells as an alternative means of propelling cars of the future. Be amazed by the energy generated to drive this vehicle from a little salty water and small magnesium plates. When salt water is added it dissolves the magnesium to form hydrogen which is attracted to the cathode creating a flow of electrons or electricity, which drives a small electric motor in the car. No batteries required.
