Finally, a signal generator with the features of a bench top generator and a portable size! The Velleman HPG1 pocket signal generator will produce accurate test signals at frequencies from 1Hz all the way to 1MHz yet it is only a little bigger than a smartphone.
Easy to use, the pushbutton controls allow you to quickly set up generation of sine, square, and triangle waveforms with adjustable frequency and amplitude. The backlit LCD screen shows the current waveform and frequency settings. Frequency changes are in variable steps from 1Hz to 10kHz allowing you to change settings at your preferred speed. For more advanced testing it also has a frequency sweep mode to shift between two frequencies using a linear or logarithmic scale over an adjustable period. Signal amplitude is indicated by a handy slider bar with the output level also displayed in dBm and Vrms or Vpp (depending on waveform). An inbuilt Ni-MH battery gives up to 6 hours of run time and can be recharged with the included USB charge cable or a 9VDC plug pack (not included use Cat. MP-3146).
