Barely useful
At a claimed wavelength of 395nm, this is barely into the UV-A range (<400), with most of the output visible as violet-purple. Every cheap UV torch is the same, but it would be nice if Jaycar offered a 365nm instead - far more useful for most people. I bought this one about 4 years ago; despite almost no use the driver/LED just died.

I bought this UV light today to find where the cats' had sprayed urine to mark its territory, to clean the spot thoroughly. I could smell it, but it was hard to find where it had sprayed. To my surprise, the light highlighted the area very easily, to every droplet! It has opened up a whole new world of cleaning for me. Great product! Staff @ Hallam were also very helpful and grabbed the product for me straight away and I was on my way.

I have several of these and they are brilliant! Highly recommend.
Suited my purpose.
Purchased to locate the cats pee on the carpet. Worked a treat. But unfortunately, it worked so good that now I have to clean all the other stains I found from the kids.
I bought this in march this year and it stopped working after 2 months. Absolute junk
