Works well for headphones, beware of microphones
These units work excellently if you are plugging a pair of headphones in. They'll also work fine if you have headphones with microphones attached. However if you want to plug just a microphone on it's own directly into these units, you'll need to also get a WA7020 in order to split out the audio in and audio out lines seperately due to how microphones are wired.
Excellent audio quality for the price
I own about 5 of these and use them on hi-fi headphones that are worth 30 times what this adapter costs, and find it very hard to differentiate between this and my expensive headphone amplifiers/DACs. It's definitely quite warm leaning, and doesn't have a huge amount of output power, but it's very very good for high sensitivity/low impedance headphones and IEMs - even on very sensitive IEMs it has a very respectable noise floor.
Great accessory for Android users.
I use this with my Galaxy Tablet when my partner is asleep and I want to watch something without disturbing him. It doesn't quite fit well with a 4-pole, but is otherwise very handy!
