USB Powered PC Speakers

Not usable

Unfortunately, I can't give minus stars! I bought the speakers online and they are not usable. They make a horrible sound when turned on. Additionally, they are not strictly USB, as there is a second cable with a round jack. The sound of the speakers is in fact, not stronger than the built-in laptop speaker, so what's the point? I reached out to them weeks ago, but all they say is to come into the store. I probably wouldn't have bought online if I lived close to a store!

Don't buy!

As other reviews say, these are MONO speakers with bad sound. The 4 star review from a Jaycar staff member should be removed - it talks about RGB leds matching the keyboard, but these speakers have no RGB leds. I think they are talking about a different product.

Waste of money

I’ve had these for 6 months and should have thrown them out when I first got them. Fluctuations in the usb power translate into interference from the speakers. The sound is extremely tinny with minus levels of bass. An earbud in a cup can produce better sound quality that these pieces of plastic. Save your money and get something better.

Poor quality sound and not stereo.

It has a stereo connector but the left and right channels are joined inside the connector as there is only 2 wires. This shorts the output when you plug it in and the sound volume is poor and no better than the laptops own speakers. The internal wiring is very poor and the construction is also poor. I would not recommend these to anyone.

Love the colours

I purchased these speakers a couple of years ago, the RGB lights match my keyboard perfectly and it has great sound too. Very happy with them.
