While the device has a USB3.0 plug and is listed here as a USB 3.0 adaptor, it's really only a USB 2.0 adaptor only supporting up to 480Mbit. Very misleading.

Not sure why the 1-star review before. I have an old Toshiba laptop. Works like a treat with Linux. Anyways, it only has a USB-A and I need to back-up system files. Well this little dongle came in handy, so I can connect a 128Gb USB-C flash drive to it. Bought from York St, Sydney. Very knowledgeable staff. Operator 10723 will go places!
