Yes, it works with Linux!
Bought this to connect my RaspberryPi W0 to an ethernet port. Was concerned that it wouldn't work with Linux, but it was detected and worked without a problem. Bonus is the additional USB ports that I could then use to connect the wireless dongle etc. to the Pi. Great value when on special at around $25.
