I Shure Love This Mic.

RobboSeptember 2025

I've been doing live gigs for over 40 years, and more recently, live streaming since COVID. I own and have used lots of mics over that time and still own a pretty wide variety. In my opinion, this $65 Jaycar mic is pretty much the equal of a Shure SM58 when it comes to sound quality. In fact, despite owning a Rode Podmic, Audio Technica ATR2100x, and a Shure PG58, this Jaycar cheapy is the mic I now use for streaming my DJ sets on Mixcloud and Beach Music TV. If you're thinking of purchasing one, do it. You won't be disappointed.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Top quality microphone

oscarJanuary 2024

Of all the microphones at Jaycar this one is the best, with excellent sound quality and all-metal build. The unit supports balanced cables and there is a switch to enable a cardioid polar pattern. This microphone offers excellent value for money.
