Better than the original TCL remote
It is set to work with TCL TVs out of the box, so no need to program it. Better than the original TCL remote, as it has playback buttons for skip and rewind that the TCL remote is missing. Works with Google TVs, but does not have the Hey Google microphone function. Buttons like "Launch TV" can be easily learned from original remote by placing them head-to-head. Also records macros that need multiple-step button presses on the 3 shortcut buttons. This is good for making buttons launch Apps that the TCL remote does not have buttons for. Just press Home as the first step, the do down/left/right/OK as needed to get to the App you want to launch with that button.
