It is basically a fan, the filters don't do much
With the low-quality carbon filters, it basically works like a fan, just moving the fumes away, not filtering much out. I think this fume extractor would work a lot better if jaycar sold an accessory that attaches some flexible ducting to the back, that could go out a window, as the fan used in this fume extractor pulls in a lot of air, and the overall build quality is decent. For now, I will attempt to modify my unit with some flexible ducting to blow the fumes out my window
