A challenge to get working
On my first attempt I only managed to get 2 of the tiles working. Returned the product - no problems there. With the second product only 3 tiles would work. This has to be user error I thought ... and so it was. The link connection pieces between the tiles are easily inserted upside down - there are no instructions ANYWHERE that I could find that show how to complete this successfully. There is no "keying" on the components to prevent incorrect insertion. Trial and Error helped resolve that. The manual controller has an M button presumably for Mode changing. There is no description of these modes that I can find nor anyway of cancelling them except through guesswork in the App - change to single colour mode. The App works in many modes (Music etc) but only some "Combinations" work is indicated, and controlling the colour on individual tiles does not appear possible. There is no guide for the App that I have been able to find. Apart from how to connect the device to Wi-Fi, the documentation is non-existant. If you want the basics, and you have the patience to play with a clunky App lacking documentation/help I can recommend this.
Nanoleaf who
The product is a far cheaper solution to the Nanoleaf and you can surly fit out a full wall at a fraction of the cost. I couldn't recommend it enough.
