Not bad

GatorJanuary 2026

About an hour into a print with the black PLA and it’s printing great only thing I can knock is the actual winding of it I love the concept but can see it being an issue on long un-supervised prints fitted it to the printed spool as per directions so it’s not user error causing this it’s just simply not wound very good from the factory however it is a very cheap alternative to filament and so far good quality otherwise

Excellent Quality Filament

Wonderful value filament! Prints beautifully on my Ender 3 V2. Been printing non-stop with it for the past few months. I've never had it happen to me personally, but to reduce the chances of the spool holder detaching and untwisting, I recommend using a dedicated filament roller that has bearings on it rather than the friction-based holder that comes stock on many 3D printers. The only downside is that it's difficult to go back to other filaments when this one can be had so cheaply, especially with the bundle offers

Fantastic filament at a great price.

Better quality than some of the more expensive brands. I am building a 5ft tall Millennium Falcon and this has been my go to filament after trying other brands. The negative reviews about tangling are almost certainly to do with removing the tape before putting it on to the spool because I made that mistake just once whilst distracted. Easy to buy in store, never been out of stock so far.

Decent for the price

After a bit of mucking around with nozzle and bed temperatures, I've now got a profile that works pretty well for this filament and am getting some decent results. It's not very well wound though, compared to other brands, which means it doesn't always feed as well as it should (feeding from a Sunlu drier), but this hasn't caused any real problems so far. Photo is a desiccant container I made with this filament (if I can figure out how to upload it) I've tried the PETG too and it's working well (again after a bit of work calibrating for the filament).

Not worth the effort

This filament is garbage. I spent over 10 hours printing the stupid spool holder, followed all the instructions, made it click and tested it. Attached the filament which I brought and somehow it unclipped and everything just came apart. What a waste of my money. Going back to filament which is already on a holder and not buying this again!

Will not buy again

I have had a print fail even while using ams as the filament is not tied to the roll leading to my ams not being able to retract the filament towards the end of it and being able to swap to my next roll, costing me an extra 4 10 hrs in print time and costs.

Fantastic Product

Fantastic Product, Note for all, no need to print off a spool holder, If you have a Slic3D empty reel, simply twist to get it apart, throw away the inner cardboard piece: - 1. Place the new spool into 1 half of the reel. 2. Cut 3 of the bindings around the new spool "ONLY", ENSURE YOU DON'T CUT THE ONE HOLDING ONTO THE END OF THE REEL. 3. Twist fit the other side of the filament reel, "ENSURE" both sides are fully locked. 4. Cut the last strap > cut the end of printer filament > feed and load into final position. Hope this helps any new up and coming 3D master.

Good Price - had 1 issue 5 min into print

robconDecember 2025

Bought the re-fill role and printer the template using what I had left from previous filament. About 5 min into the large print the winding was crossed and spool jammed unable to feed the printer - see photo, had to cut the spool and remove about 6 meters of length as now it was badly kinked. The rest of the print completed without issue full speed on K2 Plus. Have about 2/3 of the roll left. fingers crossed it was only a one off as have another refill. I gues take from it was if it happens again on the same spool, or the other refill , I would prob avoid buying in the future.. Not sure why not able to add image of the issue to the review, selecting Image Upload not working...??? Ive had the same problem with Sunlu once also.
