•Note: Do Not Use An Electronic Transformer. This circuit can be powered from either a 12V car battery or from a conventional 12VAC halogen lamp transformer (eg, Jaycar MP3044). Electronic (ie, switchmode) transformers are NOT suitable for use with this project, as their high switching frequency will cause the bridge rectifier and electrolytic capacitors to overheat.

FYI additional Costs
So, I got this a s a resent, yeah cool. But the kit requires you to buy the instructions. Not a good move. Additional costs that are unexpected when receiving as a gift, not fun. Saw the white paper inside the packet thinking yeah, this could be ok, but was more advertising. Buyer beware.
Brought short circuit project. But can't get instructions . What's the point in selling a product .when there's no assembly instructions
UHF transmitter headset.
Project used to make headset in motorcycle helmet to switch CB UHF radio between transmitter and receive. Project worked fine. Will make another with no circuit board to make it smaller.
