The KATABAT Portable and Rechargeable Evaporative Cooler is economical to run and it cools by evaporating water. With a run time of 5 hours, it is perfect for personal or small space use across Summer barbecue.
Note: Cooling will be less effective during periods of high humidity which makes evaporation less effective.
Features:
- Battery recharges in about 10 hours
- Uses an included 6 volt 4.5Ah sealed lead acid battery

Works great when used as described in review
I bought one about 5 years ago, it helped me to sleep in my truck when sleeper air conditioning was faulty, also works well in my bedroom on hot afternoons for me to sleep. It does not particularly cool a room but is brilliant if blowing directly on you or at your bed would assist 2 people.
Not powerful enough
Would probably work well in a small area but not powerful enough in the 40 degree days that we wanted it for.
