As a jump starter, it's fantastic
Bought it for missus and got her out of trouble a few times. Not too sure about using it as powerbank though, just not enough capacity to fully charge a completely flat phone, but as jump starter it's fantastic. highly recommended.
Powerbank 1000A
Has anyone noticed that the 12V output - rated 8Amps -does not work. I tried to power a 12V 21W globe, as soon as I connect it with the included cigarette lighter cable the display turns off, e.g. shuts down. Went to Jaycar for explanation , but nobody had an answer. They took another same powerbank from the shelf to try and the same happened. So I returned it and got a credit. Also in the user manual "How to charge power bank" page it talks about charging from 240V charge pack or using the small round port as an input for charging. THAT IS COMPLETELY INCORRECT - THAT PORT IS SUPPOSED TO BE AN OUTPUT 12V 8Amps -the cable has a female cigarette lighter plug - not male plug. Has anyone been able to successfully use that output ? ? ?
