Extends a Foxtel box to another room

em88December 2023

We used this product to share the signal from our Foxtel box set up in the rumpus room to the lounge room running the cabling through the attic. As you are sharing the signal, you need to watch the same program in both rooms or just watch in one room at a time. This worked well for our family and saved us paying for a second Foxtel box. The remote signal would sometimes stop working and would need an adjustment of the IR sensor next to the Foxtel box.

Works well for non-synced applications

January 2024

We use this for sending a HDMI signal roughly 30m, it works very well but there is a delay because of encoding/decoding, so I would not recommend using this to send that requires a signal to be synchronized with audio.
