N Type Line Socket

Very unusual N-type topology

Sadly I cannot recommend this product. This connector topology is different to any N-type I have ever encountered before professionally. Jaycar was quite responsive when I requested assembly instructions, but unfortunately the suggested procedure didn't apply to this specific and unusual topology. There appears to be no way to assemble this connector without shorting the centre pin to the body and/or impacting the 50 ohm Zo. Jaycar refunded the purchase price when I returned the connector.

No

Unfortunately no instructions provided for installation and is different to many other manufacturers on the market such as Amphenol or H&S. Jaycar would not supply any installation instructions when asked.
