Amazing mic but there is a slight catch
I bought this mic from JayCar a couple of days ago after being overwhelmed with positive reviews about it but upon testing it discovered that it sounded terrible. This was because my windows 11 PC was using Realtek audio drivers which the mic was not compatible with. It took a few hours of fiddling with settings before it sounded how it was intended to. (I'm still not 100% sure how I did it because most of the amazon reviews say that it is flat out not properly compatible with Realtek audio drivers but this is not true.) But overall, amazing quality microphone, extremely professional and outstanding value though quite a hassle to setup if your pc comes preinstalled with Realtek audio drivers. This of course won't be a problem with devices like Macbooks or older PCs. I highly recommend this microphone! :)
People ask me if I'm a streamer
People in online lobbies always ask me what mic I'm using, and ask if I'm a streamer or youtuber. The audio quality is top notch, and the included boom arm and pop filter are well built. I do find myself accidentally triggering the touch sensitive mute button - I would prefer if it were a physical button.
Has been my gaming mic for years
This microphone has the quality of a top brand microphone with a bottom brand price. I am very impressed with the quality of sound and my team can hear me clearly.. sometimes a little too clearly.
