Jaycar Toroids
These cores are available from many companies here in OZ as a "generic" core which is suitable for suppression and in my case two cores stacked at 400 watts as a 1:1 current choke for a resonant antenna loop matched at 1:1 on 40m. Another amateur used one as a 49:1 transformer in an EFHW. His tolerated 100w and did the job quite well. Probably the closest description would be Manganese Zinc Ferrite #31 mix. For about the same price Mini Kits here in South Australia carry a range of T240-43 toroids too. These Jaycar toroids were examined by Owen Duffy and his analysis can be found here.
