Unexpectedly excellent current carying capacity

I purchased this product and its corresponding female connector expecting a high quality part and was not disappointed. After testing these DB9 connectors I found they could comfortably carry 10A for over a minute and were able to carry 12A without melting or heating up excessively. The little solder buckets were easy to solder to as well, I would recommend tinning them first, naturally. Over all I am quite happy with these
