Elegoo TPU filament Red 1.75mm 1kg

Great quality

Originally I brought a roll arounda weeks ago (21/9/2025) and it came out very well, I tried printing a airless basketball, came out without a problem but it does not bounce well, I knew that to begin with but the quality of the print is just great especially for Tpu, I did have to dry.

Failed prints

Bought this filament 2 months ago. It is badly winded up so when it gets stuck it stretches it out making its diameter smaller till it cannot grab on and has bumps threw out it making the diameter different. Multiple failed prints due to these issues despite adjusting settings and drying the filament before printing

Rubbish filament

Jaycar have moved over to stocking of Elegoo TPU95 to replace eSUN eTPU 95. The reason is unknown, but speculatively its due to pricing and availability. So, I tried some. I found the product, using manufacturer recommended settings, to exhibit excessive stringing and poor layer adhesion. A few dollars saved on a roll of filament is valueless compared to the loss on wasting vast quantities trying to get it to print right. This product is rubbish, unusable. Wondering what to do now with the 90% of the roll remaining.

TPU used with a Bambu P1S

Bought this today, loaded into my p1s straight out the box, used the Bambu 95 profile, standard not high flow and I got perfect prints.

Good filament - when it's dry

Quite happy with this filament, but it was not dry straight out of the bag. First print out of the bag had lots of stringing. I gave it a good drying cycle and it prints well with zero stringing - so make sure you dry it out before your first print; don't assume that it's dry just because it's in a sealed bag.

Good enough for average models

Prints good, but does more stringing than other renowned brands, fair price, overall 4-5.
