Elegoo PETG Pro is a filament that strikes a nice balance between the strength and durability of ABS and the ease of use you'd expect from PLA. It’s designed to work well with most FDM 3D printers.

Works Flawlessly

Just Another Print GalMarch 2026

I use this PETG primarily for initial prototyping, and it performs reliably across multiple machines (P1S, H2D, Creality S1, and S1 Pro). With correct calibration, it feeds smoothly without tangles or jams and produces minimal stringing. The filament is consistent in diameter and prints predictably, making it ideal for testing designs before final production. My only personal preference issue is the glossy finish, as I generally work with matte or low-sheen surfaces. Aside from that, it’s a dependable and practical filament for prototyping needs.

Constant jamming issues due to twist.

I bought this as I needed grey PETG in a hurry on a sunday and this was all I could get. Unfortunately it is very prone to twisting and jamming. I've never seen this before. It twists up like a corkscrew between the extruder drive and the entry to the hot end. I did notice that when unwound from the spool its natural coil is very tight. Printing on a flashforge guider 2s. Sometimes you try something new and have a win, but not this time :( I generally just use esun filament as it rarely gives any trouble.

Prints ok

I had no issues printing with this filament. I made sure it was dry and that the print bed was spotless. The finish was a little bit more rough than PLA but I expect that from PETG.

Terrible avoid

I had so many issues the whole time thinking it was the printer. Turns out this filament has been wound so tight that it can’t be pulled into the printer.

I had so many problems with this filament that I haven't had with other cheaper brands.

Garbage filament that prints inconsistently. Endless drying, calibration and temp adjustments doesn't help. Other brands have no such issue on the same printer.
