Excellent starter board for beginners. If you need a replacement chip if you kill it, ZZ8727 is the replacement chip for this. The DC jack should be capable of running off any power supply between 7v and 12v, although I've pushed it between 6v and 15v (At 15v the regulator gets a bit warm but still functions)
