Bluetooth Antenna has 3.3v going through it
The 3.3v trace on this product (yellow and black packaging) goes through the bluetooth antenna, and the bluetooth performance is consequently poor performing.
One annoying feature
I've bought a few and they have all performed well. Why is the product photo on the Jaycar site showing pin designations on the top of the board when all the supplied product that I have received have no pin labels visible. So annoying having to use a guide.
Great development board
Great for all kinds of projects with wifi and Bluetooth support. Price is very high and pin out labels on the bottom of the board are a little annoying as you're unable to read them when it's on a breadboard but other than that, great board.
An excellent alternative to Raspberry Pi
If you need a controller for your next project that can interface to a wifi network or via bluetooth to a game controller, this is a great alternative to the more power hungry raspberry pi
Dual core processing
These units are not only bluetooth and wifi enabled chips, but they are also dual core. This means they can parallel compute providing you code it to do so. Only multicore chip we sell until you hit raspberry pi's. These also run a 80MHz clock, which can be programmatically changed to up to 240MHz if you are willing to chew more power to do so.
