Great shortwave and AM/MW FM (Stereo) radio

SamQTNOctober 2024

Excellent and powerful receiver for shortwave in New Zealand. I bought mine some months ago and have had a lot of enjoyment from it. Stations can be programmed into the unit for instant recall, and there is an automatic scan/search for all bands as well . The FM receiver is full STEREO even listening though headphones. The MONO speaker is very loud and clear. (Note: volume is locked low by default but can be unlocked to be very loud, see manual) Highly recommended as a good quality, small general purpose radio with excellent shortwave reception.

great little radio

Ken.CMay 2025

Needed a little low power radio and this thing is great. The digital interface makes it really easy to change channels and see what is on and the sound is great. Alarm feature is nice and is really easy to use.

Cheap to buy; expensive to run

DockersDecember 2025

Bought one of these for my wife last Christmas. Works fine - but chews through batteries like crazy. And that’s on the basis of minimal use. Thus, the item has been retired to the ‘junk electronics’ drawer. Would not recommend this product.
