This is a very compact world band radio, covering the most popular frequencies. It features rapid digital tuning, 1000 memory presets, and an easy to read display. Single Sideband Modulation (SSB) is used to listen in on 27MHz CB radio, short wave amateur radio and morse code. The large internal speaker provides clear audio, and you can connect your favourite set of headphones for personal listening. Powerful enough to receive what you want, and compact enough to take wherever you want.

Excellent full featured travel Radio

I bought this about a year ago, it's been a perfect travel radio offering good AM, very good FM, excellent Short Wave (including SSB) and very good Air Band reception. The SSB on the amateur bands is the equal of my larger Tecsun radio.

Great Compact Radio

Lots of great features, really fantastic sound quality and bright display. Battery life is not the best recommend an AC adaptor.

Annoying speaker noise. Otherwise good.

My unit has noticeable background 'hiss', if that's the right word. Over speaker and headphones. Even with volume turned down to nothing. It's okay if listening to music at a decent volume but for quiet music or voice listening, I find the background noise annoying.

Powerful receiver

A really good quality and powerful receiver. It can pick up shortwave stations pretty much any time of day. Has an external antenna port and headphone feature.
