Watch out this is a T568B std.

sbadertJune 2025

This is really a T568B standard cable. It does not matter if it is a patch cable but if you plan to cut and wire the coloured wires to a circuit - it does Matter ! This is because the colours to pin alignment are different between T568A and T568b. Unfortunately, the package and the web description and the receipt does not identify it as the less common T568B std.

Works well, not standard ethernet though

Cross over cables are not regular ethernet cables. These are for connecting two ethernet devices directly without a router or switch between them. E.g. connecting a laptop DIRECTLY to a networked printer. If you are using a modem, router, switch or any other form of ethernet hardware, these won't do what you think they will.

Not a patch lead

If you're looking for an internet cable but in black, this is not it. This is a crossover cable and is for connecting computers directly to other computers, not to the internet. Great for when you need to do that.
