An optical flow sensor and barometer get real-time data of the environment, which helps provide a stable flight when the GPS signal is weak or unavailable, such as flying indoors. The Point of Interest feature allows the drone to automatically orbit a pre-set GPS position while keeping its camera facing that position, and the Waypoint Flight Mode enables you to pre-set a flight path by simply tapping the desired waypoints on the screen. Other features include headless mode, one-key return, one-key take-off, orbital flight modes, and 5G Wi-Fi communication for the camera to Smartphone for a clearer first person view (FPV). The user-friendly ultra-long-range remote features an LCD screen that displays important flight in-formation such as distance and height, and a fold-out universal bracket supports most Smartphone sizes.
You can also switch the left and right controls if you prefer to operate the direction or speed of the drone with the other hand, and a built-in buzzer alerts you when there is a weak signal or the battery is going flat, so your flight is always safe. Powerful brushless motors provide speeds up to 40km/h and stable flight, even in windy conditions. When not in use, the drone folds down to just 174 long by 105mm wide so it doesn’t take up too much space in your bag. The Remote requires 2 x AA batteries (not included). Recommended for ages 14+.

My 1 gripe is that you can't buy a spare battery!
Bought this before Christmas as a present to myself while it was on special. It does require you to do the GPS/Magnetic dance to orientate its sensors each time it's turned on. Do this and after 20+ flights so far it has never played up. I also catch the drone while it's auto landing and it's smart enough to shut down its motors when caught from underneath, and NO, no cut fingers (as yet). The 4K video that's saved to my Micro SD card on the drone is good but not proper crisp 4K that I watch on my 65" 4K TV. It's certainly better than 2K (1080p). My one gripe is that you can't buy a spare drone battery for love or money. I do like this drone.
Don't believe negative reviews, it's a good drone.
Great entry level drone, fun to fly, very decent battery life and extremely easy to operate. Not sure what Anti is talking about as my Bugs 12 flies in 30-40kmh wind without any issues. Maybe turn on the GPS next time??? Also the M RC Pro app works flawlessly on Android 14.
Awesome Drome
Really good for its price, this drone can record at 4k and has GPS return function, I love it. I use this to see where the bush fires are near me to know what I need to do.
Awful
I literally got this 4 days ago and I flew it twice now. I honestly think it’s crap, idk if it’s the remote controller or the drone but it acts like it’s possessed. I hit it twice the remote controller doesn’t respond. I sliced my hand trying to turn it off but didn’t turn off. I think there was something wrong with mine. Lucky it was only $200. The drone is destroyed now.
Very poor
This drone is total rubbish, does not respond well to controls, slightest bit of wind, and shes gone! And to top it off, software only works on older phones, don't waste your money. Only deserves one star, but, I gave it 2 as the camera is good, but no point in a good camera if it does not fly properly!
Crashed on first use.
I followed all the instructions I have a dji mini 4k and mini 4 pro and with the bugs 12 eis when i took off i had no control and it just crashed into the ground flipped over and i will not be buying one again i am sending it back now. A very disappointing purchase. I would not say this is jaycars fault but MJX (the companys fault)
Great quality for the price
Purchased this last week and I must say I am honestly impressed by the quality and battery life of the drone. It's reasonably priced and does the job. It records 4K videos with 130degrees viewing angle.
Terrible. Don't waste your money.
After take off the drone acted like it was possessed. Took off and would not respond to controls. (GPS was enabled). It crashed and broke. The control system on this drone is defective.
