Not the easiest and not the best quality.
This is not the easiest kit you would get your hads on even as an adult let alone 10yo as recommended. You need to be quite good with assembling these kinds of stem kits and good with handling cheap plastic toys with out breaking them. I had exact same problem as the first reviewer here (Peter) and for more than half day couldn't work out how on the earth the gear reverses. Then after spending many hours and after many disassemblies found that I was missing 1 step (step 6) that looks very very similar to the next one. It wasn't trivial to me. Hope this saves someone a few hours. Overall you can do better with your mony than this kit IMHO

Says for age 10 years old plus no way could my 11 year old could build this after hours of assembly it didn’t work as described it would open and turn one way but would not close or go back the other way even as a adult I don’t understand how does one motor go forwards and revers without a switch or turning the batteries around can you please explain ? There’s no gear box to allow this either now I have a 11 year old in tears as it was a Christmas gift and now in the bin not impressed at all don’t waste your money or time on this
