Jaycar

1 Year Warranty240V Mains Power
This is an exceptionally delicate, temperature controlled soldering iron. The low pencil weight will help reduce fatigue on your hands when working for prolonged periods. It’s also very compact so you can almost keep it in your toolkit, and still have the precision you need on-site. While you don’t want to go trying to solder Anderson® connectors with this, the delicate pencil has enough power to work with fine components and circuits. It’s also good for very thin hookup style cable. Suitable for lead-based and lead-free solder thanks to the 100-450°C temperature range. Temperature is selected with the rotary dial, and the base unit includes an integrated stand.

Features:
- Rotary Temperature Control Dial
- Integrated Soldering Pencil Holder

Waste of time and money, buy the 48w instead

M. PowerJanuary 2026

Bought this over a year ago to complete a few small projects and have hated it the entire time as it seems to be a coin toss as to whether or not it'll decide to work properly on any given day - some days it just will not reach and maintain a usable temperature, then on other days it'll be mostly fine. And on the days where it does work it is sooo slow at heating up, only to quickly lose heat if used and needing time to get back up to temp. Save yourself the time and frustration by spending an extra $10 and buying the 48w model. Don't bother with this, it's a useless toy.

Waste of money

RenrawNovember 2024

Bought as we needed a small soldering, lasted approximately two quick jobs then hasn’t worked since. Tried again today and it melted the metal soldering tip out of the handle

Even when set to 400C it has trouble melting standard solder wire. when it does it beads on the tip and seems to have trouble heating up the wire I'm trying to solder. Will be returning it soon.

This soldering station is a basic, solid little 10W unit. Great for the beginner on a budget or for the occasional soldering job or emergency repair.

Get something else that can actually work

AnonymousMay 2026

I bought this to solder through hole components. It can’t even melt solder on a pcb, literally. “We’ll just go to 450 degrees”, well I can’t measure it and it can only go for 15min on 450 degrees. Bad buy, get something else.
