Has a habit of freezing beers...
The valve that switches the coolant between the two zones gets stuck regularly after about 1-2 years of use. When this happens, the compressor will continue to run as it attempts to cool the other zone, bringing the temperature of the zone it's actually cooling (normally the larger fridge zone) well below zero in a matter of hours, as your frozen items slowly defrost. I recommend staying well away from this fridge (and its variants such as GH2036 and GH2040, along with it's sister fridges like the 95L and 115L variants). I would instead recommend opting for GH1646 (80L) or GH1648 (100L) - these models are absolutely rock solid and very very rarely have issues.
Absolute junk product
Bought one last week...faulty compressor, (F1+F5)...returned it this week got a replacement..now after running for 4hours...Error F1 again...I reset both the fridges to no avail....that's 2 strikes for brass monkey, I will be in for a full refund this week,.should have gone with a Waeco or a n Engel from the start..my bad
Huge Capacity!
I've had this fridge for a while and its great, love that I can have one side as a freezer and the other as a fridge. Make sure it fits in your vehicle, especially if it's on the smaller side – this thing's pretty big! Would recommend for those week-long camping trips!
This fridge runs 24/7
I have had this fridge for several years now. It sits in my camper trailer and runs 24/7 and has done now for over 3 years. Fantastic product!
Regret the purchase
Very unreliable, too many problems. Stops working too often.
