Didn't last as long as expected
Installed two of these PowerTech 12v/9a batteries into my APC Back-UPS 1400 UPS to replace the original 7a ones that lasted about 4 years. Only got 2 years out of the PowerTechs before they failed. When I opened the UPS, both batteries were badly swollen and one had even split on one side. Not impressed, given their price. Will use another brand this time.

Wouldn’t recommend
These arrived about a week ago. They wouldn’t fully recharge and each recharge attempt they hold less. The power tanks under load so the unit dies. Called them but not worth going through the process of taking photos and whatever else they want to try and blame something else. Not worth my time over 2 $18 batteries and $10 shipping. Just buy real batteries from a real store. AliExpress would’ve even just refunded to buy a replacement.
Buy a better brand.
I bought this one for my sliding gate motor on March 2025. It cannot hold charge from April 2025. Your battery started to die after my warranty lapsed. My previous battery lasted me 3 years.

Came in Glenfield store with a suspected dead battery, staff member checked in, declared it was dead and got me a new one, came home, installed it, job done. Great service and the perfect product.
great battery
over the years ive always used jaycar SLA batteries to replace my NBN battery or 12v cars for kids. these work well and last a long time, if you maintain them and charge them
Short term option only
Purchased 2 New Years Eve, even with a 24 hour charge I can't travel more than 1.5km on my mobility scooter. I should be getting at least 10 to 15km per battery charge.

I've purchased this product twice in the last 6 years or so and very happy with. Was easy to install and no problem with our Alarm.
