Not all ap functions work
I bought this as I needed a solar light, with an on/off timer function. I downloaded the app first, which has this option, and then I purchased the light. Sadly, although some of the options on the app work, the timed control does not. Needless to say, the instructions are poor and the app is badly designed.
60W Solar Rechargeable lamp- mounting options
The lamp is partially fit for task. (1) - The universal U mount bracket is not as universal as one requires as the leg length of each side of the U bracket is to short and will not allow for the lamp to be mounted other than in a pendant position. If wishing to screw the lamp on to a horizontal surface with the base of the U bracket below the lamp ( my application to a rooftop) and then to fit the lamp is not possible as the outer legs of the U bracket are to short and they do not allow for the lamp to be pointed either horizontally or in a downward fashion with the appropriate angle. (2) - if mounting in a pendant application ( base of U bracket above the lamp) then again the short legs are an issue as you cant get the lamp horizontal or near horizontal. This effects how far you can spread the beam as you find the lamp pointing downward (3) - the master off function (red button) does not appear to work as the next time the lamp is detecting diminishing light it will auto turn back on. The button works to initially turn lamp on when installing but after this appears to have no function after this point.
