Kevlar cones, soft dome adjustable tweeters

Rob3424January 2026

I bought these speakers for my garage use using a reasonable head unit with built-in crossover frequencies. I have set them at 100hz as I have a subwoofer as well. These speakers provide very detailed sound and with the adjustable tweeter, it can be angled towards the centre of the room and in a vehicle, they would be tilted towards the centre of the vehicle roof, somewhere aiming towards the dome interior light. I like the rubber to boot magnet as well as it saves the speaker form rain and moisture as well as the magnet touching the vehicle chassis. I will upgrade to an external amplifier like 50 watts rms per side and so far, it is performing well and blends in well with the subwoofers. I have always bought and used Jaycar speakers including their old black with titanium tweeters and they are good value for the price, and I have experienced with Rockford Fosgate, Kicker, Boston Acoustics, CDT, Morel just to name a few. Give them a go!
