This waterproof camera is designed to mount onto a tree, fence or fixed structure in the outdoors. Once its movement sensor detects an animal or intruder from up to 20m away, it records 1080P HD video with audio and still images to a microSD card (not included), which you can playback later on the internal 2.4” colour screen, or by connecting up a computer via USB.
With the addition of a 4G SIM card (not included), you can use your phone to access the camera with your Smartphone from anywhere in the world, receive instant phone alerts with photos, playback video, manage camera settings remotely, track data usage, monitor battery and 4G signal, and more.
High power IR LEDs provide excellent night vision, anti-theft GPS tracking helps you locate the camera in case it gets lost or stolen, a fast 0.4sec trigger time helps avoid missing a fast moving object, and an external adjustable antenna helps improve 4G signal.
An adjustable bracket and wall mounting hardware are provided for permanent applications, and a mounting strap is supplied for temporary mounting on a tree or pole. Batteries are not included - 8x AA batteries are required.
Note: A 4G SIM with plan is required (not included). Telcos supported by default are Optus and Telstra - you can update the firmware to allow other Telcos to be used.

Good value product
I've used this trail cam a couple of times in low coverage areas, it works well and battery life seems better than others. On the lower upload setting it only used 30 meg of data for around 300 photos, easy to navigate. My only gripe would be having the screen on the inside, not as easy to line up the camera but not a big issue
2 MONTHS STILL NOT WORKING
BEEN TRYING TO GET IT WORK FOR 2 MONTHS IN THAT TIME ON MY THIRD CAMERA AS THE FIRST TWO FAILED DUE TO NOT BEING WATER PROOF,THE THIRD ONE WONT CONNECT VERY DISAPPOINTED AS SENT TWO EMAILS TO SORT PROBLEMS AND NO RESPONSE,ALSO COSTS ME ABOUT $800 a year to run WHICH I WASNT TOLD ABOUT YOU HAVE TO HAVE A FULL PAYING SIM TO MAKE IT WORK
A good unit
Don't even attempt to play with this unit unless you have an operational SIM card an SD card that has been formatted in camera using the camera's menu. While it's not exactly user friendly, it's not that hard to navigate the menus, and I was up and running quickly once the SIM went in. Delivers good quality pics near instantly to my phone. I bundled a Telstra Data SIM onto my existing plan for next to nothing.
good night vision
This works quite well & has good night vision, the only downside is that there is a 5 sec delay, even though in the set up it says you can reduce. Yes you need a SIM but that is fine, If in an area thats has good mobile coverage its works well. Notifications take about 5 mins to reach us, we use it about 1KM as the crow flies in distance. Weather proof - have not had a problem. Its pricey but good.
Works fine and fit for purpose
Used to detect wild dogs on our property and find this unit perfect for the job, just keep in mind the $20/month mobile data plan and the batteries that need to be changed every 3-4months, this unit might seem light on features that more expensive trail cams might offer, but for the price, the product fits the bill.
Terrible terrible product wasted so much time

Rubbish product.
Brought in the morning around 9:30 10:00. Got home, put in the sim card and the SD card. Saw it take a photo of me, every subsequent photo (about 6 all up) were just black. Started to use the application. After a brief period of about 10 minutes of usage, every time I pressed the SETTINGS button on the app, it kept crashing on me. Had it outside on a tree for a few hours to see if it would work. Came about about 6:30 pm and opened it up and saw on the screen, the image was divided into 2 parts and buttons were non responsive. Turned the unit off and then turned it back on again. Heard the unit chime, but no images came up, not even the logo. I could see the screen was being illuminated because you could see the back light come on. Screen went from black to grey. Switched the unit off and on a number of times. Nothing. I took the sim and sd card out and the screen came to life and complained of there being no SD card. I switched the unit off and on again. Back to the screen just being black. No images at all. Going to have to make another trip to Penrith tomorrow to swap it out. I had planned on going with 2 units that were on special but I think I will be skipping the Nextech brand. Absolute garbage. 1 star is being generous. WOuld rate it a zero if I can.
