Works a treat
This unit is so good it stays in my car boot permanently. I use it mainly for keeping my groceries chilled and frozen as we live 30 minutes away from the supermarket. The trick is to buy the big battery and it will work while you do the rest of your shopping without worrying about the chilled and frozen goods getting warm. NB; DONT FORGET TO CHECK YOUR TEMPERATURE SETTINGS FOR EACH SIDE TO ENSURE YOU REACH THE DESIRED SETTINGS!!
Great Product
Bought this Eski about 3 weeks ago, travelled to inland Queensland at times getting weather top of 43 degrees (very hot) but the eski worked a treat keeping water & beer/wine and food very cold, battery was very helpful to cover when shopping or away from vehicle. The freezer took awhile to reach freezing, but worked well. My option to use the whole space as a fridge with fridge at -2 and freezer -4 to -6. Pleased with purchase. Worked well through cigarette lighter output while car was being used with battery charging at same time.
great value for money
have had this fridge over the course of 3 years and for the price, its an absolute BARGAIN. it lives in the back of my 4WD and is exposed to the elements 24/7. you can purchase a cover which is a must if it to be used this way. perfect size for solo or 2 people, and having its own battery means you dont need to have a second battery fitted to the vehicle, just a 12v source. the freezer works great BUT you HAVE to have multiple items stored inside in order to hold the cold, as in 1 bottle wont freeze but put 6 of them together and they will be frozen in a few hours. after 3 years and the abuse it takes off road it is finally time to retire it, cover has torn apart, the plastic control panel has fallen off and the battery no longer lasts more than 3 hours and also doesn't recognize charge sometimes. i think that i would rather spend another 600-700$ on this fridge instead of 1500 dollars on a larger named brand that requires an external battery fitted to run full time

I bought this fridge freezer about 18 months ago thought I would give it a good run before doing a review.would not recommend getting one I have had it out multiple times camping I have tried all the power sources and when run on 240 volts power it would keep things cold but it would battle to get down to a temp to freeze food meat for example
expectations. -20/-20 won't freeze superdupers.
i guess i brought this with false expectations. * test running inside for 2+ days both sides set to -20. *display Never reached -20 on either during the time running 24/7. mostly sat near 0 to-4. it did get to -11/-15 for a brief period during the 1st night. *the seal is foam compared to the yt review with a rubber seal (better or worse?). *added tape on the second night and temps on the screen dropped down on both sides much better seemingly because of it (-12/-12 on screen and in morn got -16/-12 on screen). **couldn't get superdupers to freeze in the small section in that time. second night the 1L waters with a tap on them became a slight slushy. **tech support says** 'Dual zone fridge/freezer models should not be set to the same temperature in both zones. One side should be operated as a fridge (0 to 8 Degrees), and a freezer (-20 to 0). Allow for at least 5 degrees difference between each zone. Setting both zones to the same temperature confuses the logic of the control board and can cause 1 zone of the fridge to cool uncontrollably" *if true, i can't see it in the manual, and the machine alllows both sides to set -20. currently testing but a bit over it as a basic consumer. *using a thermocouple: the room ambient at night was sub 19-25 when checking, during the day the floor boards have a cool draft so it sits right now 27 on a 36deg arvo. i can't say the product is bad. but my expectations weren't met.
Great Bedroom Fridge!
I use this 45L Fridge/Freezer in my bedroom to keep my drinks cold without having to leave my bed! it works great and doesnt affect my sleep as it isnt very loud at all
Underperformer.
I bought this yesterday. Put it on AC power. Put half a bottle of water in the freezer, 15 hours later, not frozen. Disappointed. I wanted a freezer section for a purpose. An underperformer. I will be asking for a refund.
Limited life
Failed with a gas blockage a few months out of Warranty. Not worth repairing. Also users alot of power. 160W - 120AH wouldn't run it for more than 12hrs
