Lukewarm iron is now in the bin
Bought one of these a few weeks ago, thinking it'd be fine enough for circuit board work. And it does have a nice fine tip but the one I got was hopelessly underpowered. Supposedly 40W, I doubt mine was even half that. Took ages to heat up but even when up to temp it was barely able to do the job and it had to be held on the joint for so long to get a good bond that I was worried about cooking components. Not worth the frustration so I binned it. Maybe just a dud but I won't be trying another one.
LED lights makes it handy.
Good product that I bought from Jaycar as it is a big help in all my soldering works. The LED lights is what you need in soldering, so highly recommended.
Not great
Honestly feels underpowered, I doubt it actually is 40w. You can get the job done but it’s difficult and barely can keep solder melted
