Great Flexibility

January 2024

I was convinced that I only needed a single zone fridge/freezer yet I decided to go with the removable dual zone and I'm glad I did. I constantly find myself putting the divider in and carrying frozen things like ice cream for the kids in tandem with cold beers for the adults. I'm also able to take the dual zone out and create a huge fridge or freezer which comes in handy. I'm 100% glad I went with the removable divider fridge as it gives me the flexibility when i really need it .

Meh

Fine as a non critical fridge for camping but won't be relying on it as a freezer. Will not maintain freezer temperature even in Max compressor mode. Regularly find the freezer compartment at -8 when has been set to -20 (fridge hasn't been opened for days and has infinite amounts of 12v power). Lids also warp in the heat(or direct sunlight) Lid was replaced by local store. I was also told to try and reduce the temperature inside my ute canopy to keep the lid from warping. Recommend for a drinks fridge but not much more than that. Definitely don't buy if not on sale. I paid 250 and don't feel it is worth anymore than that.

Great value

A BlokeFebruary 2026

Great value for money, has stood the test so time so far. Quiet and holds temp nicely, app and child lock handy to avoid accidental temp changes. Any complaints about lid buckling can simply be solved by common sense. Don't store your fridge directly in the brutal Aussie sun and if you absolutely must, buy an insulated cover (which I'd recommend anyway)

Couldn’t find a better fridge

ThebrodesterJanuary 2024

The 59L brass monkey is the perfect balance between capacity and size. The depth of the fridge is not too great so grabbing items, even out of the the very bottom is still easy. The removable divider is super useful if you need extra fridge space for a day trip. Great warranty, great price, and cools down super quick

Overall a reasonable fridge for the price

CrikeyJanuary 2025

Over all, happy with the fridge. I’ve had the 60l for nearly two years now. Just enough room for a week’s camping for meat, milk, fresh veg, a half dozen of semi frozen slushy things for the kids and can still chill a hand full of beers each day. It’s a Good price for what you get, seems reliable, and is easy to use. With both sides set to freezing the fridge can maintain about -15 reliability over 24 hours with a decent battery & use of a solar blanket and keeping fridge in the shade. Shouldn’t need anything like that for camping of course. The cover is probably a good idea to get, I’ve been meaning to get one to help efficiency & reduce battery usage. These are typically bulky compared to a chilly bin. This 60l size is ok for a ute. Main faults: Handles will come off if you are lifting or pulling along and have a decent load in it. Easy to clip back on but something to be aware of. Fixing this would make a big improvement for future models. You can’t maintain wide differences in temperature between cooling and freezing. You can get roughly a 10 degree split between the cooling side and freezing side, ie 5 cooling -10 freezing. Some things on the chiller side with eventually freeze over a day or so if the temperature split is large, not perfect but ultimately not a big deal for the price i guess. Next time I’d personally get one with a separate freezer just for few iceblocks for the kids and a bag of frozen veg or similar.
