Happy with the purchase

Dont really review things but got this for camping. I've been using it as a UPS at home during the power outs. Pretty impressed. Runs everything for ages.

Creat value

RobbieFebruary 2025

After shopping around for ages I decided on this one from Jaycar. Honestly an amazing system. I bought some solar blankets with it and being able to use it while it is charging is a definite plus. Price was good for the size when I was shopping around and comparing prices and features.

Look, actually really good

This product surprised me. I cam in for a Bluetti unit and the manager gave me an advance special because they were putting them on a promotion next week. Ask them to give you a cable and they'll discount it. Took it on a trip and performs well. Solar input was good and didn't complain about being in the trailer. Good unit, but just make sure you ask for the cable for nix.

Caution do not buy

CruzyApril 2025

1 day into our camping trip and the power station struggles to keep charge with an Engel 60l fridge. Bought $300 of food thinking the power station would keep the fridge going for three days, instead I’m stressing how to maintain power, have a 240w solar blanket attached in full sun light and in 5 hours charged the power pack 3%. My advise buy from Itech world don’t spend your money on this device. My 160amp gel battery ran the same fridge for three days, given that this power station is 2054watts I am afraid to even use the induction cooker. We are having sandwiches and I will run out of power on the second day so all the meat will be fish Bait. What a waste of money and as advertised how could this devise possibly run house hold appliances, if possible I would rate this item a 0 out of 5.

A solid chunk of portable power w/ IOT capability

Intelligent ToasterFebruary 2026

I've had this product for over a month now and it performs pretty well. The DC outputs are quite efficient, but the AC output doesn't quite give you the capacity of the batteries due to inverter losses. But it works pretty well for my use case. The Jaycar listing doesn't show this as UPS-capable, but the box does list it as a UPS. It does work as a UPS only if you keep the charge under 92%, since over that it reduces the mains input power and can't cope with the AC surge demand if the mains supply drops out, so it tends to reset your computer. Below 92%, it's sucks in power between 800W (normal charge) or 1600W (fast charge) and can maintain the AC load if the mains power cuts out. This device had an unexpected bonus, it has an IOT WIFI, so I was able to connect this battery to my HomeAssistant and keep the charge between 60% & 85% at all times automatically.

Great features, especially phone app.

Purchased one yesterday morning from Lakes Auto had 63% storage level, ran two house fridges and a freezer, Engel and charged power tool batteries, finally got it down to 7%. Fast recharge this morning connected caravan Thedford air con off she went, works a treat, obviously run times will depend on ambient temps but very happy.

24/7 backup for the last 6 month!

JordIEDecember 2025

Running home server, wifi, nvr with 6 cameras for the last 6 month and hasn’t skipped a beat. Average power draw between 250-300w. 750w of solar connected and mains connected on a timer 10pm to 4am. Any user with bad experience are either unlucky or haven’t equiped the device proper. 3 years warranty keeps the confidence

Powertech S2 Power Station

Bob27June 2026

Lasted one year, and one day. Just beyond the warranty period, error codes for output voltages. Now, one month later, it no longer charges up through mains power.
