a great unit if you are happy to wait

spikeJanuary 2024

its a great little kettle it dose take up to 15 to 20 mins to boil but the get around this is just put enough water in for 2 cups and turn it on around 15 to 20min before you stop for a break on a rest period

Perfect for roadside coffee stops

MAD4X4MANJanuary 2024

I've had one of these for a while now and love it. Its really handy when travelling for a coffee break roadside, my only advice is as they draw a lot of power you need good wiring to the plug and don't expect it to be quick. I find if you start it when you pull up then go do your ablutions by the time you come back it will be boiling and ready for that cupper.

Best on the market

KelzaJuly 2025

These are the best 12v kettles around. They have a large enough base so that they don’t fall over travelling in the trucks on outback roads. I’m an absolute coffee fiend so it gets quite the work out, I replace it approximately every 12 months and am onto my fifth one. Never had a problem and save $$ on making my own brews.

Fire Hazard - Doesnt even boil

January 2024

Multiple stores have reported melting plugs/sockets on items they have tested this kettle with. In-store testing gave a result of 85 degrees after 65 MINUTES. If a kettle cant even boil the water I dont see much point in it.

Nice looking kettle but what a disappointment

Me27February 2025

We've been through two of these kettles already in the last 2 months. The kettle shortens out, and the plug gets really hot and smells of burning plastic.

Handy but slow

MarcusFebruary 2024

Handy to have a simple way to boil some water for a cup of tea or coffee, but it takes like 20 minutes to boil a cup of water, so it requires patience.

Don't waste your money.

JulezsJanuary 2025

I don't mind the slow boiling time as this would be expected but essentially the cigarette lighter socket got so hot it melted the wiring, fused the plug and caused no end of problems.

Terrible product

JaxonApril 2025

Bought it recently, it took ages which I expected and have no problem with, but the kettle broke after 4 small boils. Listen to the reveiw and avoid this kettle because even if u don't mind the boil time it will break on you fast.
