Amazing little unit
I bought this jump starter as a replacement for carrying jump leads as it takes up to a 1/4 of the space the leads would. the compact nature of the device allows me to easily carry it even when fully loaded. I was skeptical at first but when I had to use it the jump starter it started my battery on the 2nd go. the jump starter also comes usb outputs/wireless charging which has come in handy when my phone or a friends phone has gone flat. this little bugger easily fits in my glovebox, all in all after using this little jump starter I can safely say that using jumper leads is a thing of the past for me.
Started smoking and had a flame in the usb
Be extremely cautious, I purchased this battery bank on Friday and by Wednesday it destroyed my son’s iPhone, started making a crackling noise and proceeded to smoke. He pulled the usb chord out (supplied one) and blew the flames out that were burning in the usb port. So grateful he was awake when this happened or it could have been a lot worse. I contacted Jaycar today but am yet to receive a response. In the meantime if you have one be vigilant while using it.
Perfect for big engines
I got one of these when i got a old classic car. Has no trouble at all starting a 6.6L V8 petrol engine with a 60 year old starter.
Life Saver
I bought this unit to jump start my second car that I only use a few times a month and cranks over every time without fail. Also comes in a great storage case to keep all the accessories together great unit would recommend.

Bought this about 6 months ago and used it while camping for the first time on an isuzu ute. Jumped it twice over the course of a week with no power and still was able to charge my phone regularly. Great product.

I brought this 2 years ago used it about 5 times smart leads failed and guess what you can not buy the lead discontinued line so do not buy

12 month warranty
Most likely it will sit there until you really need it. As a result the 12 month warranty will lapse. Then the battery overtime swells and eventually doesn't hold much of a charge. Waste of money.
