Doesn't work at the right current

VanlifeNovember 2024

Trips at 150A not 200A which made me replace it. I'm pretty disappointed

Might be labeled 60-amp but trips at 40-amp

MarkJune 2025

Quite disappointed in this product. I installed the first one as protection between the output of a (quality) 40amp AC/DC convertor and a (quality) lithium battery. Cabling was also of heavy gauge and good quality. Distance between convertor and battery - about 1 metre . During battery charging the product overheated and tripped after about 15 minutes. Suspecting a faulty item, I replaced with the same product / spec, with the same result. I've now replaced with a 60-amp fuse and no longer have an issue. Two bits of plastic and metal now taking up room in my shed.

Not rated correctly

I agree with other comments that these circuit breakers are not rated correctly. I connected one of these that was rated at 120 amps and after a couple of minutes of pulling about 80 amps it tripped. Wire to and from circuit breaker was still cool however breaker itself was so hot I couldn't touch the bare metal parts.

I should have looked at reviews before buying. I pull about 150amp through it. Doesn’t trip the ohms resistance under load is massive. I run car audio and 12.6v at battery, at the breaker under load it’s 9v to 10v. Removed it and at amp 12.5v. Cant believe this poor unit.
