Often in a workbench environment you don’t need massive amounts of power, and your huge unit is under-utilised. This slimline power supply provides up to 80W of power, still plenty of grunt for many tasks. It provides constant current and constant voltage options. Simply select your power range, then adjust the controls to obtain your desired outputs. Ranges available are 0-16V @ 0-5A, 0-27VDC @ 0-3A, and 0-36V @ 0-2.2A. Output is provided via banana sockets which will accept insulated banana plugs. A powerful, compact unit for your workbench or mobile toolkit. Includes banana to alligator clamp leads.

Works, but no adjustment while output off

I bought this unit specifically for the "output on/off" button. I want to adjust the voltage & current limits before turning the output on like higher-priced lab supplies. This product does not allow adjustment of the voltage & current limits while the output is off. I will be returning it.

Great, but huge issue with leakage current/earth.

Good power supply but there is a serious issue where it dumps 113V through the positive output while the front panel on/off is off. I have a steel bench and this device shocks me when i touch the positive bannana plug output and the bench simultaneously. I confirmed with a multimeter that it was putting out around 113-115V. If you have a wood bench, buy this, but if you have a steel bench, avoid it.

Perfect Little Lab Power Supply

This 5A lab power supply has been great for testing and creating electronics before creating the final design. It is simple to use and is low powered enough where you shouldn't hurt yourself but not too small for anything I have needed it for. Great little unit.
